It’s going to be an explosive end to “Grey’s Anatomy” season 9, and episode 23, “Readiness is All,” for which ABC released promotional photos on Tuesday, April 23, leads right into the big event of the finale.
In this “Grey’s Anatomy” episode, the doctors at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital have to prepare for the super storm heading for Seattle. Meanwhile, Owen’s (Kevin McKidd) desire to be a parent grows as he becomes closer to Ethan, who’s still going to be around, and with that a very touchy subject for him and Cristina (Sandra Oh), what could it mean for their relationship? The most troubling part of the episode description concerns Meredith (Ellen Pompeo), as “one wrong move” puts her and her baby’s lives in jeopardy. Finally, Jo (Camilla Luddington) turns to Alex (Justin Chambers) during a crisis, and one doctor receives the shock of her life.
The “Readiness is All” photos, which you can see in the slideshow above, offer a look at Owen with Ethan, as the doctor continues to spend more time with the young boy. Meanwhile, Meredith and Derek (Patrick Dempsey) look happy, but it looks like that’s just the calm before the storm. Finally, the hospital is preparing for the storm, and it looks like that means preparing for the possible loss of power with all those files piled up.
“Grey’s Anatomy” season 9 airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. on ABC. What do you think of the latest photos?
